Founded in 2022 by Matt Wetmore, Charlotte Chamber Choir is a volunteer ensemble of dedicated singers based in Charlotte, North Carolina. What began as a shared passion for high-level choral music has grown into one of the Queen City's most dynamic and expressive a cappella groups.
The choir presents three concerts annually, offering a rich and varied repertoire that spans classical masterworks, spirituals, folk traditions, and bold contemporary compositions. Every performance is a celebration of vocal artistry, crafted to inspire and engage audiences of all backgrounds.
Charlotte Chamber Choir has become known not only for its musical excellence but also for its commitment to community. Performances like Music from the Heartland: American Music by American Composers reflect the ensemble's mission to uplift diverse voices and honor the breadth of choral tradition in the United States.
